About “Caffettes” Women’s Group

We are a group of women in our 30s and early 40s.  Some of us are single, and some are married with young children (and some without children).  Each semester, we do a different study.  Past studies have included Priscilla Shirer video series, studies on books such as Trusting God by Jerry Bridges and The Gospel at Work: How Working for King Jesus Gives Purpose and Meaning to Our Lives by Greg Gilbert and Sebastian Traeger, and studies of our favorite hymns and verses.  It's easy to jump into the middle of a study, so newcomers are always welcome!

Fall 2025: We will be looking at the Christian's relationship with poetry, examining passages in the Bible + contemporary and historical songs/hymns.  We will also dive in and compose our own poems (with or without the assistance of AI...your choice!)  No materials required; a member of the group has written study guides for each week.

We meet both in-person (we rotate locations all over RVA) and virtually - each person chooses what works for them each week.  It usually happens that half are on Zoom and half are in-person.
